• 1976- Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico
• 1994- Wins the "Magna Cum Laude Fashion Award" from the 
  “Escuela Central de Artes Visuales, Santurce. P.R.”
• 1998- Gets her Bachelor Degree in Advertising / Magna Cum Laude – U.P.R.
• 2001- Graduates from the Lisa Thon School of Design
  and recieves the "2001 Total Look Award".
• 2003- Is chosen as the “Coor’s Light Catwalk” "Urban Collection" designer.
• 2003- Is awarded the "Best New Designer of PR Award" from America Online.
• 2004- Presents her Fall / Winter Collectionat the Puerto Rico Fashion Trends - Fashion at the Tents
• 2004- Open her first "Miriam Budet Atelier / Boutique" in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico
• 2005- Autumn Collection "Chocolat" as part of the event For Fashion Sake®
